1.8.15 |One VERY cold day. -6 degrees F before school and not much higher than 10 all day. But you were excited to smash some icy snow after school. And your breath was everywhere.

1.7.17 You two have been just bonkers lately, must be cabin fever. It has been so cold this week, you haven't been able to go outside and play at recess. You were using our stairs as a slide before school.

1.5.15 | Ah, the kids are back to school. Such a happy thing after they began to get a little stir crazy. It was hard to pull them away from their new lego sets this morning, but it is time to get back to learning.

1.4.15 | Finally a winter wonderland to wake up to on your very last day of Winter Break 1. The snow was covered in a layer of sleet. We went to the pond to explore. Hope to skate here soon.

1.2.15 | You wanted to play Monopoly again right after breakfast. Daddy won again despite yours and my own best efforts. It was another quiet day at home on winter break, you didn't really want to go anywhere. We talked about an outing to Portland, but you wanted to stay home, and I had a headache. The funniest moment was when you came in to tell me that you spied on the trash lady, from a new tree you learned to climb. I was on the phone with Camille, whom I really hope you will meet one day.

1.1.15|. You popped in to say good morning and snuggle, and show me your clone trooper mask. I asked you to take the biscuits out of the freezer and you returned with the mask at the ready to say 'mission accomplished.' You played your first game of monopoly today, and went to visit great grandma with dzia-dziu. here I asked you to sit in the window light because I am working on shooting windows for an upcoming workshop. you looked out as you ate your cinnamon toast crunch cereal. You know, thinking for a moment, my first 365 was of you looking out the window as well. funny how that happens.
